Brad S. Gerber joined Harrison & Held as a partner in 2007 to help head up the firm's real estate and banking division. Before joining the firm, he was an associate at Laser, Pokorny, Schwartz, Friedman & Economos, PC. Brad has represented clients in the purchase, sale, development, and leasing of commercial, residential, industrial and office-type of real estate in Chicago and across the country. He has represented clients in complex real estate financing transactions both on the borrower and lender's side and transactions involving 1031 exchanges. Brad has acted as counsel for a number of large developers in the Chicagoland area in the development of properties for retail, office, commercial, and industrial use and drafted the documents needed in the process of condominium conversion and vertical subdivisions. Brad has also assisted clients both as Landlord and as Tenant in complex lease negotiations.
