Kimberly Moore has over seven years of experience as a paralegal in the estate planning and probate arenas. She has assisted attorneys in the preparation of wills and revocable trusts with a variety of tax-sheltering techniques, irrevocable insurance trusts, gift trusts, special needs trusts, and family limited partnerships. Kim has also worked closely with clients and their account representatives or financial planners to coordinate clients' assets with their estate plans, pursuant to our attorneys' recommendations. This process involves retitling accounts, changing beneficiary designations, and assisting the attorney with the preparation and recording of deeds. On the gifting side, it often involves obtaining taxpayer identification numbers for new trusts, assisting with notices of withdrawal rights, completing policy assignments, and monitoring tax deadlines.

In the probate field, Kim has assisted attorneys in the administration of guardianship estates for minors or disabled adults. Her experience includes all stages of the guardianship process, from the original petition to open the guardianship, to the annual accountings and ad hoc petitions for Court action.

Kim has an Associate Degree in Legal Technology and a Paralegal Certification from Harper College.
