Peter C. Economos Peter C. Economos joined Harrison & Held, LLP in 2008. Previously, he was a founding partner of Laser, Pokorny, Schwartz, Friedman & Economos, P.C. Peter’s practice covers a broad spectrum of matters relating to business and corporate law transactions and all phases of real estate law and he possesses extensive experience with contract negotiations and drafting complex real estate and business agreements. Peter’s significant real estate practice includes property acquisition and divestiture, property annexation and zoning, development of residential, industrial, commercial and mixed-use properties, condominium developments and marinas, subdivisions, wetland mitigation, environmental issues, commercial and private equity financing, real estate leases, restrictive covenants and comprehensive “due diligence”. He has specialized expertise in the assemblage of multiple ownership properties and the representation of golf course and golf course community developers and country clubs. Peter has also developed numerous real estate projects as a principal and is currently developing a resort in Central America. He is the recipient of the preeminent rating by his peers for having obtained the highest level of legal ability and ethics as recognized by Martindale-Hubbell. Admissions:

Professional and Community Organizations: Peter is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is a Charter Member Fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation. He is active in community affairs including serving as Police Commissioner for the Village of Kildeer, Illinois for many years. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Wellness Place, a non-profit organization which has provided assistance and resources to several thousand cancer patients and their families. He also presently serves as a director on the boards of several closely held entities. |
