Alan G. Palmer

Alan Palmer counsels clients on their appropriate choice of partnerships, limited liability companies, and trusts with a focus on their individual financial goals and their unique family investment strategies. His federal and state income tax practice also includes the preparation of responses to various IRS inquiries and audit matters.

Alan designs and drafts estate plan documents for a wide range of clients, including families concerned with creating the appropriate structure and financial foundation for their young children and wealthy families seeking to create an estate plan that provides for an orderly and efficient transfer of their assets to their children, grandchildren, and subsequent descendants.

He also counsels clients on effective charitable and individual gifting strategies that are sensitive to each individual client’s desires and result in significant income and estate tax benefits. Alan advises clients regarding the negotiation and preparation of prenuptial agreements and guides those clients through the sensitive and emotional process of protecting their respective assets and determining fair and reasonable financial provisions for the marriage.
