Susan F. Lifvendahl counsels clients in a broad range of general corporate and corporate transactional matters. She represents a variety of private and public companies, financial institutions, private equity firms, hedge funds and entrepreneurs in the structure and negotiation of mergers, asset purchases, stock purchases and other fundamental corporate transactions as well as private equity investments and commercial loan financing and real estate. Susan has broad experience in formations and structures, general business matters, and commercial contract drafting.

Susan joined Harrison & Held, LLP in May of 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Susan was affiliated with Handler, Thayer & Duggan as Senior Counsel in its Commercial Practice Group from 2003-2007. From 2001 to 2002, Susan served as in-house counsel for the Audit and Financial Consulting Divisions of Arthur Andersen globally, working extensively on the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements and engagements, including Master Service Agreements. Prior to her time at Arthur Andersen, Susan was a Senior Associate practicing in the Corporate Transactions Group of Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz in Chicago, from 1997 to 2001. Susan began her practice as an Associate in the Corporate Group of Ross & Hardies in Chicago from 1993 to 1997.
