Brad S. Gerber

Brad S. Gerber represents clients in the purchase, sale, development, and leasing of commercial, residential, and industrial real estate in Chicago and across the country. Brad is counsel for a number of large developers of retail, office, commercial, and mixed-use properties.

Brad’s practice includes structuring complex real estate transactions, creating Private Placement Memorandum for investors, negotiating contracts with general contractors, subcontractors and architects for large scale development projects, advising on zoning and land use issues, and condominium conversions. Brad also represents a number of non-profit companies and private foundations advising them on their real estate portfolios.

On the lending side, Brad represents a number of Chicago lending institutions in transactions ranging from acquisition, construction and development loans, to asset-secured and bond financing, to negotiating workouts of financially distressed loans.

Brad also represents clients in complex lease negotiations, advises clients on landlord-tenant issues and handles leasing for a large wholesale distribution company with over 800 locations nationally.
