Nick Beideman focuses his practice on corporate transactions, closely-held businesses, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), domestic and international taxable and non-taxable transactions, civil litigation, employment, and serving as general outside counsel to all manner of companies ranging from small, family-owned businesses, to large multinational corporations.
Nick Beideman also possesses a unique understanding of international and cross-border corporate structures, partnership planning, executive agreements, asset protection, employee and independent-contractor disputes, and tax-exempt organizations (not-for-profits).
Nick founded his first small business while still attending high school, and he grew up working around family-owned business. He inherently relates to business owners and serves all business needs from initial entity formation, corporate planning, contract preparation, litigation and defense, and final sale, acquisition, or dissolution. Nick has closed large and middle-market M&A transactions, and he has prepared pleadings to the United States Supreme Court. His extraordinarily diverse legal practice makes him an invaluable asset to those businesses and clients that rely on him daily.
Nick earned his B.B.A. from the University of Iowa majoring in Business and Entrepreneurial Management. He obtained his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he served on the board of the Corporate Law Society. Nick Beideman is also a former Division I Men’s Lacrosse team Captain and team president, a former undefeated junior middleweight and light-heavyweight boxer, and a lifelong athlete and leader.
